Simscamp is coming to Gamescom!

In August, members of The Sims Community began to receive some very special packages from their friends at Maxis.Enclosed was their ticket to Gamescom, the largest gaming convention in the world!


The lucky recipients will represent The Sims Community at "SimsCamp", a special event running during the week of gamescom in Cologne, Germany. There they'll get a chance to talk to developers of The Sims 4 in special breakout sessions and be among the first in the world to try The Sims 4!


Check out how excited some of our lucky attendees got when they found out they were going to Cologne:


IpodZeke: "I can’t even talk, I'm so excited!"

SimsVIP – "They included travel guides for Cologne, all our paperwork detailing the events that will take place, a Plumbob Headband (squeeee!) and a luggage tag with the official Sims Camp logo."

  • Post to The Forums
  • Download free player-created game items from The Exchange and upload your own custom creations for others to use
  • Receive new opportunities to earn badges
  • Customize your avatar
  • Upload your own game videos and screen shots to use to create Movies and Stories
