The Celebrity Market event is heating up. Esther Cramp is the first evicted. No garden and no garden skills. Erzi has now earned $156 and gotten to Level 5. Planting potatoes, onions and limes even. Woo!

New celeb Corey Kirk, my fave male model is Esther’s replacement. He’s started Gardening, reaching level 2 and has made $37. Taylor has moved in with a new couple and has made a small garden, reaching level 2 with $18 made.

In danger are Christopher Steel, Jennifer Love-Hewitt & David Conrad.

Town news, Thornton Wolff gives his plush pad to the Lanegrak family. He vows to change his ways, become a model citizen, trip through the tulips singing happy songs, be nicer to children and appreciate art.

I decided to split the clan up, I‘ll explain later on. But Dorothy DeMayo, Lawrence Lum and Parker Langerak remain at this swish mansion. I've re-modelled it so it has three bedrooms and less pillars. Thornton’s east wing master bedroom has gone and the space above the sitting room is filled in and houses the three new bedrooms. The stairs leading up to his bedroom are gone too and a new staircase leads upwards. It looks fab! There’s still the study at the other end and the gym on the ground floor.

The Lofty Cerulean Blue Pool only gets ghosts visiting it.

I thought they couldn't leave the graveyard - but obviously they can. With the science lab gone I have no playable ghosts, so it’s not that. Most evenings there's three ghosts lounging in the one surviving smaller pool, I get my Sims to jog through. There’s no interactions available. I might get one of my Sims to camp out and see if they can follow them around. But maybe that's why no one is going to that pool, it‘s deserted apart from three ghosts.

Oddly most Sims are congregating at the new picnic area I've placed on the main strip where the grocery store, movie theatre and bookshop are. They all try and sit on the same table, getting in each others way - even though there are other benches/tables around. It’s quite funny to watch.

My fave Riverview couple have arrived, Robert Newbie and Hannah Jones. They met and fell in love when I last played Riverview and they’ll make regular appearances. I wrote their traits down and lifetime ambition so this current pair match them. Taylor Lautner is their lodger. They have a violet theme in their clothes and furniture. The house is based on a Sims 2 house the Ranch Retreat. I need to make another European Townhouse template too. I like seeing familiar structures.

This week the four children left have had to be removed so there‘ll be no evictions. (Phew! Breathed the rest of the town) But this is a problem with the ageing off as I always end up with nothing but young adults! The ageing happens too quick outside the house I’m playing even on epic. A glitch?!

Every time I played the household containing the children, there would be terrible lags and glitches and it‘s only around the children. So Mortimer and Kaylynn have been banished to military school (like Sims 1)! Malcolm Landgraab has gotten a place at Simtom University whilst poor Bella Batchelor has been kidnapped by aliens!

I purchased Barnacle Bay in a shop not realising it’s not a disc. Entered the code on-line but I think I need to update to at least 1.5 something as the launcher won‘t download properly, just comes up with a red bar and a box icon… grr, the last time I updated with a patch I lost my entire game as I couldn‘t save anything.

I was really looking forward to Barnacle Bay. The pirate ship, downtown etc and pirate clothes!

Shame. Oh well nothing to do I guess…
