Hey Simmers,

We’re back with another fresh-out-of-the-oven release. Your Sim will not be able to walk past the newDeliciously Indulgent Bakery venue without being tempted to go inside and try everything!

When your Sim walks inside, the Baker's Bazaar Collection’s assortment of baked goods can only be described as delicious, yummy and utterly divine. . I’m sure your Sim has never seen such a beautiful array of organic, locally sourced, baked goods.

Nom, nom, nom!

If your Sim’s dream is to own their own Bakery, look no further. The Baker's Bazaar Collection is the only way to sell your Sim’s baked goods! If it’s after 7 pm in-game put those almost-day old baked goodies on sale!

If you’re Sim is like mine, they’re probably obsessed with all things cupcake related, which is why I can’t wait to talk to you about the Baker’s Station and everything it can do.

You can bake breads, pies, cakes, cobblers, and cupcakes with the Baker’s oven.

Cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. Did I mention cupcakes? These mini bites of deliciousness also include cinnamon rolls!

If you have the Bohemian Garden Set, you can also use those fruits and nuts in a variety of new pie recipes. Look at how beautiful those pies come out.

Pre-heat your ovens, the Deliciously Indulgent Bakery is available on The Sims 3 Store today, April 3rd 2014!

Hey Simmers!

Rejuvenate your senses and discover your green thumb this spring in the Bohemian Garden! In this whimsical palace, let your inner free spirit run free!

Try your hand at landscaping and plant an array of different colored flowers!

When full in bloom, the garden also includes an exciting selection of Bohemian Fruits and Nuts! Yes, the rumors are true. You can tend your garden and produce strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, chocolate beans, pecans and pears! That’s 8 different premium items!

There’s also room for you to relax. Wouldn’t you love to sit and hang out in one of these?

I love how the lights hang in this canopy! Can you imagine all the different ways you can style this?

In my opinion, it’s the perfect place for the best chair on The Sims 3 Store. For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you’ll know I’m dying to have this!

The Bohemian Garden has been one of my favorite sets to design. I’ve reimagined some fan favorites and some of these items will tie directly into items in the next couple of releases!

Hello Simmers!

Many years ago The Sims team moved to Redwood Shores – we got a fancy new floor with fancy new décor, we got to name our meeting rooms (Bladder Failure & Social Bunny hee hee) and make it our own.  Recently we've been given a chance to refresh our studio again! It’s time to put up some new decorations, new paint, new flair and we want your help!  You are such a HUGE part of why we do what we do – your creativity constantly inspires and motivates us.  We'd like to create some spaces in our studio dedicated to YOUR creations.  What does The Sims mean to you? Paintings, sketches, collages, digital art – what has it inspired you to create?  Send us your art – something that represents you and The Sims (any The Sims product that moves you) and we'll start creating a gallery dedicated to you.

What have you made? We'd love to see creations inspired by any of The Sims games – from the very first The Sims , to The Sims 3 , to any of the console games (hey, The Urbz had some amazing style)! Pieces can be any of the following:

  • Photographs
  • Collages
  • Paintings, drawings, sketches
  • Handmade crafts that can be hung on walls

Please send your physical creations to:

The Sims

209 Redwood Shores Parkway

Redwood City, CA 94065

Not able to ship something to us but want to share your creations? We’re accepting digital artwork as well! Send your digital wonders inspired by The Sims to: Simleaderalpha@ea.com with the subject line: Artwork for the SimGurus

Get your stuff sent to us by April 4, 2014!

We can't wait to see what you will send us! Keep an eye out on our channels as we'll be sure to show off the creations on our walls!

Thank you for continuing to be part of The Sims universe and helping to make The Sims the special thing that it is.

Lyndsay

Hey everyone!

What are the top five things you love to do in  The Sims  games? SimGuruArgus talks about the way he loves to play the game below - take a look!

Five Things I Love to Do in The Sims

By: SimGuruArgus

The world of  The Sims  is a broad canvas where you can paint any picture and tell any story you wish. We thought it would be fun to discover how the developers play their own game. This is the first in a blog series where they talk about how they play. We've also included a link at the bottom to the pack where you get the ability to do the things they do, or create your own ways to play.

I consider myself a bit mischievous  when it comes to playing  The Sims  . For me, I always try the things I wouldn’t do in my day-to-day life, but live out those moments with my Sims. Granted, it doesn’t always play out the way I envisioned in my head, but I always enjoy the outcome. Here are five things I love doing again and again in  The Sims  :

1. Streaking

The wind in your Sims hair, the pixelated skin – who doesn't get a good giggle when it comes to watching your Sims streak?  When streaking was first introduced in The Sims 2: University and then reintroduced inThe Sims 3 University Life , I never looked back. It quickly became my number one interaction with my Sims. What better way to make an impression in a new town then to strip off my Sims' clothes and have them run through town? My Sims always throw the best parties, have an awesome time hanging out with the Jocks, and I never get tired of inspiring my Sims to have more fun.

2. Drowning My Sims

I admit it. I drowned my Sims.  That moment when I remove the ladder just to see what happens (for the 1001st time), makes me cackle like a mad scientist.

3. Studying A Sim Brain

Again, I really love experimenting in The Sims . There's no piece of equipment I like doing those experiments with more than the Cerebralizing Brain Enhancing Machine 2.0. It's basically the cornerstone for my own version of a mad scientist’s lab I've created in The Sims 3 .

4. 100 Baby Challenge

The creativity of our fans never ceases to amaze me. I never thought about doing something like this until I saw it on our forums, now I've done it twice! It's simple, just take one Sim and try to have 100 babies. Doesn't sound too hard until you try it, but boy is it fun.

5. Juice Keg Stands

Party! This is more a personal thing for me, but watching my Sims do handstands on juice kegs really takes me back to my own college days and all those popular kid parties I couldn't get into where they were doing juice keg stands and people were having fun and I was outside in the cold… I mean, I was in there with the cool kids, totally having fun!

There are things I have found to love in every one of The Sims 3 expansion packs, but The Sims 3 University Life   holds a special place in my heart. It lets me get my Sims to do all the wild things I only dreamed of during my own university days. Maybe you could share your own highlights from The Sims 3 University Lifeas well.
