Marlene is the eldest child of Ser Aerador Sand & his late wife, Lady Rowena Penrose. Marlene was named after her aunt, Lady Marlaena Sand. Similar to her she is a solitary and learned women, she enjoys her time most either reading or tending her own personal garden in her uncles keep. She moved back to the Parchments after her mothers death, prior she had been living at Harrenhal as her father was Prince Haemon's close confidante. Marlene hopes to find out more about her grandmother, Rhaenys.
