Gorfindel of Gondolin

Glorfindel the Golden Warrior, the Balrog Slayer, Glorfindel of the Golden Flower of Gondolin, the Pure. Glorfindel is probably one of the most awesome characters that J. R. R. Tolkien ever created. He is also the most jiped character, since Arwen took over his role in the Lord of the Rings when she rode out to meet Aragorn and the Hobbits after Frodo was stabbed. It was Glorfindel the Born Again Hero of the First Age who fought off the Nazgul at the Ford.
