Cpt. Kosmins personal Log, Star date 34751.1. We were exploring an unhabited planet from orbit. We discovered it is similar to earth and were about to launch the shuttle pod to explore the surface until we encountered an unexpected event. We flew right into a minefield which one of the mines hit the ship and damaged the primary systems component room on C deck. Luckfully no fatalities. The mines were invisable and we had a tricky time manuvering through it. Within time, we cleared the mine field
